Stanford Update Today

And I'm still on the waitlist.

It seems there are approximately 75 of us left hoping our lucky stars will appear... soon...

hey there! just read your entire blog (while at work... ha) over the last hour... great read! Anyway, I'm going to UChicago next year so I was interested in a lot of what you had to say. I loved it there too when I visited... I'm excited. Feel free to drop me a line vburga _ at _ chicagogsb

good luck with stanford (even if that means you'll be a tree instead of a.... well, a maroon bird) and with your final outcome!

Hi,

Stumbled on your blog while looking for Stanford Waitlist,

how do you know there are that many remaining? does that mean some people were rejected?

Thanks!

Victor: Wow. You read my entire blog? You must have wayyy too much time on your hands... :-D It's funny how once the application process is over, our brains all turn to "vacation mode." Thanks so much for taking the time to read! If the Paly trees don't come calling then I'll see you next year! I'll be the girl dressed in maroon flapping her arms wildly... time to learn how to fly!

Vikaas: Stanford sent out a letter stating that approximately 75 of us remain on the w/l. I believe this last count is probably from 1) some people taking themselves off the w/l and 2) some people being rejected (or so I've read from the BW forums). Are you w/l-ed as well? If so, good luck to you too!

All the best!

I am in the same situation but with U. Chicago. I have been waitlisted twice and will not hear anything until week of June 12th. On top it, they say that the international students will just be removed from the waitlist after July mid! :o(
